You may have noticed that there is a new link under the login section, a button that says Login with Facebook. Yes, now if you have a Facebook account, and most of us do by now, you can login to the NCGH using it, no registration needed, one click and done.

We added this as a convenience to our members, to make log-ins easier for returning members and make first joining the site easier then ever.

You can still login with your current NCGH account. You can still make a NCGH account via normal site registration. A Facebook account is an optional extra for those who wish to take advantage of it’s use on the site. If the e-mail on your NCGH account and Facebook accounts are the same, you can login to your current account via Facebook, it’s that simple.

I already know what you are thinking, “Another new site? Why?”.

It’s very simple, after the insane popularity of the old site (Note the sarcasm), we figured no one would mind a change. The old site was confusing, difficult to use for both user and staff and did not really meet our wants for the site.

This new site is considerably closer to what we wanted originally for the NCGH site, plus allows for considerable growth beyond what we have here. Not to mention a decent bit of sanity in use.

We also changed the forums to one that meshes nicely with the main site. Not to mention removed the bot trashed wiki.

There is still some work to do on the site, but you will find that it is fully functional right now.
